Job SummaryYou will serve as a Materials Handler (Blocking and Bracing) in the Navy Munitions Command Pacific East Asia Division of NMCPAC EAD UNIT GUAM. Guam is designated as a medically underserved area. Military medical facilities offer space-available primary and limited specialty medical care; however, services are not guaranteed.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Major DutiesYou will assure the quality and safety of ordnance material and operations as related to the receipt, issue, storage, handling, segregation, renovation, preservation and packing of such items.You will perform inspections to determine adequacy of operations and facilities.You will perform receipt and issue inspection of ordnance items.You will inspect and approve transportation conveyances as suitable for loading, blocking, and bracing.You will advise management on safety and facilities and planning operations assuring adherence to procedures, and reviewing standard operating procedures.
