Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes serving as a principal advisor to senior leadership on a wide range of administrative and management functions, such as resource management, human resources, logistics, and operations. Developing, coordinating, and implementing strategic plans, organizational policies, and long-range objectives for a complex organization. Exercising supervisory responsibilities, including planning and assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and managing subordinate staff. Major DutiesOversees procurement, contracting, and financial monitoring to maximize cost-effectiveness.Formulating and executing the command's multi-million dollar annual operating and capital budgets.Formulates effective strategies consistent with the mission and priorities of the organization.Examines policy issues and strategic planning with a long-term perspective, anticipating potential opportunities and threats.Forging deep strategic alliances with Army Sustainment Command (ASC), Army Material Command (AMC), naval commands, and localized defense supply activities.Develops networks, builds alliances, and collaborates across boundaries to establish strategic relationships and achieve common goals.Serves as financial and management representative of the command to visiting officials and groups from higher headquarters in relation to the management of financial and manpower resources.
