QualificationsOne year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-13) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: evaluating financial programs, policies, processes, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations to enhance performance and standardize operations; or managing significant projects or program segments, serving as a technical advisor on complex program issues. You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Major DutiesLead high-impact strategic initiatives, directing the development of agency-wide plans to modernize and standardize service delivery across the enterprise.Develop and present authoritative recommendations for new policies, procedures, and systems that have a substantive, agency-wide impact.Drive the development of new processes, modified work methods, and management systems.Serve as a key liaison for business strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
