WSP Australia's Water Business Group is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Drafter (12D) to join our Water Utilities team in Adelaide. • Prepare high-quality civil drafting and design documentation using 12D and AutoCAD for major water infrastructure and utilities projects. • Deliver detailed design outputs including plans, profiles, cross-sections, earthworks models, and construction drawings. • Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary teams across the project lifecycle. • Support projects from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction documentation. • Review drafter outputs and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members. • Coordinate drawing production to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to WSP's quality standards. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting standards, workflows, and digital engineering processes. • Liaise with clients, surveyors, and project stakeholders as required. About You
• Demonstrated experience as a Civil Drafter or Senior Civil Drafter, ideally within water, utilities, transport, or linear infrastructure projects. • Advanced proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD, with strong technical drafting and modelling capabilities. • Experience producing detailed civil documentation packages for infrastructure projects. • Strong understanding of civil design principles, including earthworks, drainage, roads, pipelines, and utility infrastructure. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary project teams. • Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior drafters is highly regarded. • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering, Engineering Design Drafting, or equivalent practical experience. • Experience working with water authorities or utility clients will be highly regarded.
