About this role
The purpose of the Clients & Growth Coordinator role is to provide support to our Clients & Growth Managers and Directors in achieving the strategic growth priorities of the Australian business. This role ensures the smooth and efficient execution of business development activities by assisting with client research, client pitches, reporting, marketing, work winning, and event logistics. By combining strong administrative skills with an understanding of the business development lifecycle and client service, the Clients & Growth Coordinator supports the implementation of various initiatives, including the Global Client Program in Australia, to meet the company’s growth ambitions. The Clients & Growth Coordinator plays a key role in helping business leaders focus on client engagement, relationship building, and growth priorities for key clients and sectors.
Job Specific:
• Work with the relevant Clients & Growth Managers and Directors in Australia to ensure alignment of expectations and service delivery. • Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and processes related to Clients & Growth functions. • Understand the WSP processes, particularly related to winning work, client feedback and the Global Client Program, as described in the Integrated Management System (IMS) and intranet. • Client and market research: • Research clients, industry trends, and competitors. • Provide insights that help shape client and opportunity strategies.
• Client pitch and work winning support: • Assist in preparing client-facing documents like capability documents, pitch presentations and proposals. • Coordinate inputs from various teams to meet deadlines. • Ensure all materials are tailored, polished, and aligned with WSP’s brand and messaging • Collaborate with Graphic Design Studio to elevate WSP’s presentation to clients.
• Event and marketing coordination: • Help organise client events, conference attendance, and technical forums/webinars. • Support global marketing campaigns implementation where aligned with AU client and sectors strategies.
• Reporting support as required. • Coordinate account management activities in consultation with Clients & Growth Managers or Account Leads. Wellbeing:

• Degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience (minimum) • More than 5 years of relevant experience within a professional services or corporate environment • Experience delivering high-quality BD and work winning support services in demanding and fast paced environments • Experience working with consulting engineering firms (desired but not essential) • Experience working with internationally based internal clients (desired but not essential) • Ability to act as a role model and mentor, motivate and encourage staff to achieve results • Excellent communication skills in English • Ability to learn and subsequently train others in WSP systems and processes • Skilled in managing client expectations and achieving positive outcomes in challenging environments • Experienced to an advanced level in the Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Excel.
