Core responsibilities - Assist with IT audit planning, scoping, and walkthroughs of processes and systems. - Perform control testing for IT general controls (access management, change management, backups, logging/monitoring) and selected application controls. - Collect and analyze evidence, document workpapers, and maintain clear audit trails. - Identify control gaps, assess risk impact, and support remediation tracking with stakeholders. - Help prepare audit reports, findings, and presentations for internal teams and management. - Support compliance activities (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC, SOX, GDPR) as applicable. - Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to understand systems, data flows, and third-party dependencies. Required skills and qualifications - Foundational knowledge of IT controls, cybersecurity concepts, and risk management. - Understanding of common frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO 27001). - Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail. - Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and technical configurations. - Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work with cross-functional teams. - Proficiency with spreadsheets and documentation tools; familiarity with audit tools is a plus. - Relevant degree or equival...
