Key responsibilities - Maintain general ledger accuracy, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions; ensure timely invoicing and payments. - Prepare and reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts. - Assist with month-end and year-end close, including variance analysis and reporting support. - Support preparation of financial statements and management reports. - Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing, payment, and reconciliation issues. Required skills and qualifications - Experience in accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, reconciliations, close processes). - Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices. - Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel); strong attention to detail. - Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain data accuracy. - Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. - Preferred: Progress toward or completion of an accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and prior audit support experience.
