Unique is looking for an EHS Manager for a company in the Wevelgem region. As an EHS Manager you will lead the implementation and administration of established health, safety and environmental policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs. What will you have to do? Ensure, verify and improve EHS compliance with internal and external requirements including a system of regular audits; closely monitor new statutory regulations or requirements from Corporate. Initiate and conduct training activities to enhance EHS awareness and ensure correct reporting in Safeguard system Ensure legal requirements are being followed and regular meetings are conducted with the appropriate team Review and approval of new equipment regarding EHS Leading a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensure and monitor work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business who are we looking for? College Degree and professional designation in the area of Environment, Health & Safety 3-5 years of proven related professional experience Automotive experience is a plus Extensive knowledge of local & Corporate regulations related to safety, health and environment in order to develop & implement & maintain measures of complianceDemonstracte extensive knowledge of safe work behavior and habitsExcellent communication skills Strong analytical skills needed to analyze and intepret data trends Very good presentation and training skills to conduct EHS training and to develop written procedures where required Prificiency in MS Office programs
