About this role
*Position Summary:*
The purpose of this position is the loading and unloading of customer's freight in a productive, safe, error free, and time sensitive manner. A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. Please note, licensed forklift operators must meet Speedy Transport Safety Training standards.
*Shift Availability:*
Nights - 12:00am - 8:30am
Afternoon - 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Days - 7:00am - 3:30pm
*Position Responsibilities:*
* Load/unload trailers according to company procedures. * Identification of OS&D freight. * Completion of necessary documentation with care. * Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures. * Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned.
*Position Qualifications:*
* 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an *asset*. * Written and oral communication skills. * Forklift experience *preferred*. * Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment. * Criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
