*Shift:*
* Night Shift - Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm to 7:30 am.
The purpose of this position is the loading and unloading of customer's freight in a productive, safe, error free, and time sensitive manner. A Forklift Operator will ensure freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. Please note, licensed forklift operators must meet Speedy Transport Safety Training standards.
*Position Responsibilities:*
* Load/unload trailers according to company procedures. * Identification of OS&D freight. * Completion of necessary documentation with care. * Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures. * Ensure a clean workspace and carry out housekeeping duties when assigned.
*Position Qualifications:*
* 1-2 years previous warehouse experience is an *asset*. * 1-2 years previous counterbalance forklift experience is *preferred.* * Ability to lift up to 50lbs * Cross dock experience is considered an *asset*. * Written and oral communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and in a time sensitive environment. * Criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
