Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Diagnose and isolate faults on engines and motors. Discuss work with supervisor. Estimate repair costs. Review work orders . Adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment. Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance. Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment. Equipment and machinery experience: Diesel engines. Garden tractors. Gasoline-powered equipment. Lawn mowers. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles.
