JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the accurate, timely, and complete collection, counting, verification, and recording of funds from various areas throughout the Casino in accordance with company Internal Controls and established procedures.
• Records and verifies drops, wraps, and packs all currency after it has been counted and ensures all supporting documentation accurately reflects the funds processed.
• Performs TRM and ATM drop, count, and fill processes, including the proper transfer of currency and coin from the Main Bank and other areas as required.
• Maintains a working knowledge of Count Room applications, systems, and equipment, including Oasis and Ultipro, and utilizes such systems appropriately in the performance of job duties.
• Maintains constant awareness of activities within assigned areas and follows established procedures when identifying or observing suspicious, unusual, or irregular activity.
• Ensures all cash-handling activities are performed with a high degree of accuracy, security, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Assists with maintaining an organized and efficient Count Room environment and follows all applicable company policies, procedures, and Internal Controls.
• Provides assistance and guidance to fellow Count Room Clerks as needed and supports the training of new team members on Count Room procedures, equipment, and processes.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Count Room operations and performs all assigned duties in accordance with regulatory and departmental requirements.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS OF EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• One to two years of experience in casino operations preferred.
• Previous cash-handling, banking, accounting, or money-processing experience preferred.
• Must be able to accurately perform mathematical calculations and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Must be able to receive and maintain all required certifications and licenses.
• Must complete all required company and departmental training.
• Must be able to work effectively in a highly controlled, confidential, and security-sensitive environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to follow established procedures and Internal Controls consistently.
