Division Energy Storage Department R&D Level EX Functional Area Electrical Battery Design and Development 1 Job Title Assistant Manager / Manager 2 Reporting Functional reporting to : Lx 3 Background i) Educational Qualification Essential : B.Tech - EEE Desirable: M.Tech – Power electronics ii) Experience Minimum: 3 Maximum: 6 4 Job Role & Responsibilities Role: Design and development of Lithium-ion battery pack Responsibilities: Cell selection/qualification Busbar design Responsible for field failure battery pack analysis. Simulation in Matlab or similar. Co-ordinate with cross functional teams like component development, vehicle integration etc... and resolve DFM / DFA comments. BMS bench testing. BMS/Battery test automation. Design verification plan preparation. CAN log and data analysis. 5 Competency Requirements Technical/ Functional: Knowledge of battery & cell technology and components. In depth Knowledge on BMS and it’s functions. Battery debugging skills. Knowledge to use lab equipment’s. Software skills: Matlab/Simulink, Python. Technical documentation Behavioral Good communication skills Quick learner Specific expertise required for functional area: NMC/LFP pack design/development 6 Likely sources OEMs – Ather Energy, Honda or similar Service Industry – Tier1 suppliers -
