This hands-on role demands proficiency with a variety of fabrication and welding equipment, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.Responsibilities

• Weld armoring plates onto vehicles. • Polish and grind metal surfaces. • Perform heavy lifting as part of the fabrication process. • Read and interpret blueprints accurately. • Fabricate sheet metal pieces for vehicles. • Assemble parts and perform welding during assembly. • Set up manual fabrication machines including press, shear, and cutters. • Keep track of internal inventory. Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding. • Experience in a fabrication shop or manufacturing environment. • Ability to pass an initial welding test using blueprints. • Knowledge of assembly practices. • Minimum of two years of experience in the field. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding certification is a plus but not required. • Ability to work with tools such as drills, saws, and grinders. • Bilingual or Spanish-speaking is preferred. • Must be a resident or citizen.
