Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThis Warehouse Worker role focuses on supporting a busy returns operation for a K–12 ramp-up in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will handle packages as they move in and out of trailers and delivery trucks, ensuring accurate sorting, packing, and material handling so that each item reaches its correct destination. The team values energy, reliability, and a strong work ethic, and offers steady hours on both first and second shifts.Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from trailers and delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner. • Sort packages accurately to ensure they reach the correct destination within the returns process. • Support the K–12 returns group by handling inbound and outbound materials according to established procedures. • Perform packing and packaging tasks, including preparing items for shipment or rework as needed. • Pick and stage orders, including returns and rework items, using established order picking processes. • Manage basic inventory tasks, such as counting, organizing, and tracking materials within the warehouse. • Carry out general labor duties, including moving, lifting, and arranging products and materials. • Handle materials using appropriate equipment and methods to maintain safety and productivity. • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including checking items in and out and verifying documentation. • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment when required and when properly trained and authorized. • Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area. • Work effectively as part of a diverse, energetic team and maintain a positive, cooperative attitude during fast-paced operations. Essential Skills

• Experience working in a warehouse environment, including returns or rework operations. • Ability to perform loading and unloading tasks safely and efficiently. • Capability to lift, carry, and move packages and materials as part of daily duties. • Proficiency in basic packing, packaging, and order picking processes. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-oriented setting. • Basic material handling skills, including organizing and moving inventory. • Ability to support shipping and receiving activities with attention to accuracy. • Willingness and ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment when trained. • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse, energetic group. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• n warehouse work, including roles focused on returns, rework, and order picking. • Familiarity with inventory practices such as counting, tracking, and organizing stock. • Experience with general labor tasks in an industrial or warehouse setting. • Exposure to production environments where meeting daily goals and timelines is important. • Comfort learning and following established processes and guidelines for material handling and shipping. You will spend most of your time on your feet, moving around the facility, handling packages, and working near trailers and trucks, with standard warehouse attire appropriate for physical, hands-on work Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
