Production Team SupervisorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Production Team Supervisor to lead and supervise our assembly line team. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily activities, promote safety, and ensure quality standards are met while achieving production targets.Responsibilities
• Assign daily activities and rotate operator positions for cross-training and ergonomics. • Assist management with personnel scheduling. • Train and develop team members, including new hires. • Coach existing team members to enhance their performance. • Assist management with personnel evaluations and disciplinary actions. • Promote safety and compliance within the team. • Maintain and enforce quality standards, including correct labeling of final products. • Ensure production targets are met efficiently. • Troubleshoot and resolve minor problems independently. • Coordinate with maintenance, management, and engineering to repair or adjust equipment. • Bring parts to the line in the absence of the Parts Coordinator. • Perform assembly line tasks as directed by the supervisor. • Operate and maintain machinery and tools on the assembly line. • Ensure assembled products meet quality standards. • Inspect assembled products for faults or defects. • Keep the assembly line clean and organized. • Report any issues or problems with the assembly line to the supervisor. • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate safety gear. • Meet production targets and deadlines. • Work collaboratively with other members of the assembly line team. • Continuously improve skills and knowledge of assembly line processes. • Load product pieces for assembly onto the line and pack assembled products into boxes. • Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills
• Experience in production, manufacturing, and assembly. • Experience leading a team of 10-12 people. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes. The position requires working the B shift from 4:30 pm to 2 am. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bloomingdale, GA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48880.00 - $48880.00/yr.
