• Packing • Labeling • Material handling • Inventory support Conduct quality inspections and report defects promptlySupport TPM, 5S, line audits, and production documentationAssist with line changeovers and workstation preparationUse RF scanners and inventory tracking systemsHelp maintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaSupport basic machine cleaning and preventative care activitiesCollaborate with teammates to keep production running efficiently and on schedule What We're Looking For Required Experience & Skills 1-2 years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packaging experiencePrevious assembly line experience performing repetitive tasksAbility to stand and work for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts)Experience with:
• Packaging • Packing orders • Material handling • Inventory tasks • Warehouse operations Familiarity with:
• RF scanners • Quality inspections • Production reporting • Performance-driven environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable work history with steady employment and minimal gaps Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on role requiring:
• Continuous standing and walking • Frequent bending, twisting, and squatting • Repetitive hand and arm motions • Constant grabbing and pinching activities • Lifting and moving products up to 33 pounds • Working shoulder-to-shoulder as part of a production team Preferred Qualifications Candidates with any of the following will stand out:
• High School Diploma or GED • Warehouse packing and labeling experience • Knowledge of TPM, 5S, and quality audit processes • General labor experience in manufacturing environments • Exposure to machine operation • Experience following SOPs and structured production processes • Interest in advancing into machine operation or material handling positions Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colonial Heights, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.42 - $21.42/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
