Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Worker plays a key role in supporting daily production and distribution activities by stacking, sorting, and labeling boxes, loading and unloading trucks, organizing products within the warehouse, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This position supports overall warehouse and production operations and performs additional tasks as directed by the production lead or warehouse supervisor.Responsibilities
• Stack, sort, and label boxes accurately and efficiently to support production and shipping activities. • Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage. • Organize products in the warehouse to maintain clear inventory locations and support smooth order picking. • Perform general labor tasks related to production, packaging, and material handling as needed. • Assist with packaging and packing operations, including filling, wrapping, and preparing small consumer products for shipment. • Use RF scanners and other scanning equipment to pick orders, track inventory, and confirm product movements. • Carry out inventory-related tasks such as counting, verifying, and recording materials and finished goods. • Support material handling activities, including moving, staging, and storing products and supplies throughout the warehouse and production areas. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following established housekeeping and safety procedures. • Follow instructions from the production lead and warehouse supervisor and perform other duties as assigned to support production and warehouse operations. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Metairie, LA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
