Analyst II
Position Description: Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.
Major/Essential Functions: Project Execution: Under the direction of the Lead Analyst of Data Strategy, use a variety of tools to complete research projects in the form of reports, graphs, and presentations that communicate findings to various audiences.
Prospect Research: Research information on prospective donors to identify and evaluate prospects for major gift cultivation using various techniques.
Data Integrity: Independently ensure accuracy of the advancement database through consistent manual and automated data entry practices.
Service Delivery: Communicate with internal partners to accurately and efficiently fulfill requests for data updates, reports, and data interpretation.
Data Insights: Support Lead Analyst of Data Strategy to apply statistical and analytical methods to provide insights and advice, such as analyzing gift officer performance and recommend strategy improvements.

Preferred Qualifications: Background in data informed decision-making, such as education, healthcare, or social services. Ability to interpret and explain trends in data through verbal and written communication, preferred.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in job related field plus two (2) years responsible related experience; or a combination of related education and/or experience to equal six (6) years.

Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral; excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access and have excellent research skills using web-based and other external sources. Ability to be detail-oriented, have effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Possess strong analytical skills. Ability to to follow ethical guidelines regarding confidential information.
