Salary: £45,000 - 75,000 per year
Requirements: We require 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience with strong expertise in Oracle 19c and Oracle 21c.We require proven experience in Oracle platform administration and DBA leadership.We require strong knowledge of database migration and reconciliation.We require experience with infrastructure integration and performance tuning.We require demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.We require hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) administration.We require excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.To be eligible for SC clearance, we require that you have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past 5 years. Responsibilities: We lead the Oracle POD, owning the Oracle database platform elements of the migration, including build, configuration, and the safe movement of data from the legacy Oracle estate.We lead the build and configuration of the Oracle platform components of the target environment.We direct DBA engineers on migration, validation, and cutover of Oracle data.We translate designs into operations and assure integration with the wider platform.We resolve Oracle platform problems and support performance and scalability testing.We support governance approvals and transition to BAU.
