Salary: £65,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements: Previous experience using MBSE to develop complex systems, involving software or firmware elements.Experience using modelling programming languages such as MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or similar.Strong background in Radar, Communications, Satellite, or Automotive systems exploiting the electromagnetic spectrum.Desirable: Systems modelling and architecture experience (SysML) and tools such as MATLAB Systems Composer, Sparx EA, or Cameo Systems Modeler.Desirable: Experience with software or hardware architectures, including interfaces, components, and functional and performance trade-offs.Desirable: Experience working on technical bids.Desirable: Experience with agile ways of working (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.), specifically as a Product Owner.Desirable: Experience across the engineering lifecycle, from requirements through to acceptance.Desirable: Interest in cutting-edge technologies in the Electromagnetic Warfare domain (cognitive systems, digital array radars, neuromorphic processing, etc.).Desirable: Experience leading small technical teams and defining appropriate work packages for junior team members.Must be a UK National and eligible to work in the UK.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government SC-level security clearance. Responsibilities: Lead key development activities for a variety of cutting-edge projects focused on EW systems and supporting tools.Use Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to create high-level models that capture requirements, architecture, and design.Flow information and integrate workflows with software, modelling, and firmware teams.Use models to define inputs to and verify outputs from development teams.Ensure verification, validation, and acceptance activities are successfully completed.Influence architecture and designs across the project lifecycle.
