Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Strong background in software testing methodologies, including exploratory, smoke, and regression testing.Solid experience or exposure working with Playwright and TypeScript to build automation suites.Proven experience with API testing tools such as Postman and database management using SQL queries.Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Jenkins.Exposure to mobile testing, BrowserStack, or Google Analytics testing is desirable.Clear, precise communication skills with a commercial and critical-thinking mindset. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript for web applications.Embed automated Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, AWS, and Azure, to enable continuous testing.Participate in 3 Amigos sessions to design testability into features and define strict automation acceptance criteria.Construct robust API automation tests using tools like Postman alongside SQL database verification scripts.Balance automated regression suites with focused, high-value exploratory and smoke testing for new features.Review automated test execution logs, debug failures, and communicate technical risks clearly to developers and product stakeholders.
