We are a major public sector funder and supporter of health and care research, with a mission to improve health outcomes through funding, supporting and delivering high-quality research, engaging patients, carers and the public to maximise research impact, attracting and developing talented researchers, investing in research infrastructure and workforce development, and working collaboratively with public, charitable and industry partners. Our department leads academic training, professional development and workforce strategy programmes, and our team is responsible for policy development, strategic planning and programme delivery. This is a Senior Programme Officer role at an equivalent NHS Band 5 level, offered on an initial contract to the end of March 2027, with a hybrid working arrangement of up to 80% remote working and a 37.5-hour working week.
