Salary: £30,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Proven software experience working at silicon or networking companies.Proven commercial experience developing in C / Embedded C.Experience of Python and other scripting languages.Strong communication skills.Hardware/software co-design experience.Experience with Ethernet and TCP/IP.Embedded systems experience, ideally with system software and device drivers.Understanding of server system architectures, e.g. PCI-Express.Experience of Linux systems.Experience of digital design, including EDA tools, Verilog, or VHDL.Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Responsibilities: Design and implement embedded firmware for our networking products.Work on next-generation networking software for cloud and hyperscale data centre operators and our AI systems.Collaborate with teams within our Cambridge office and across our global sites.Work closely with the silicon team to refine designs and model the RTL.Partner with host driver teams to develop high-performance network stacks.Work with system test teams to take products to release.Tackle system-level problems and use relevant embedded debug techniques and tools.Drive sophisticated issues to resolution across multiple teams.
