Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements: Extensive hands-on experience developing and optimising complex Power BI solutions, including reusable semantic models rather than only individual reports or dashboardsProven experience consolidating multiple standalone datasets or semantic models into shared analytical products supporting several reports, teams or business use casesStrong Power BI expertise, including DAX, relationships, storage modes, security and performance optimisationAdvanced SQL skills and practical experience using a modern data platform for data preparation, transformation and analytical modelling, ideally including Microsoft FabricStrong analytical and stakeholder skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous requirements and fragmented data into scalable, maintainable solutionsExperience preparing models for Copilot or natural-language querying would be advantageous Responsibilities: Lead the hands-on design and development of reusable analytical datasets and Power BI semantic models for BI and analytics use casesAssess and consolidate standalone semantic models, bringing common data, measures and business logic into shared analytical products that support multiple reports and BI use casesTranslate complex business questions into clear data requirements, definitions, measures and practical Power BI solutionsDiagnose and resolve Power BI performance issues through effective semantic-model design, DAX optimisation and appropriate storage choicesWork with Power BI developers, data engineers, architects and business stakeholders to align solutions with agreed standards and take them through testing, documentation, deployment and ongoing improvement Technologies: CopilotDAXFabricSupportPower BISQLSecurity More:
