Requirements: Demonstrated data governance expertiseStrong data quality analysis skillsProven stakeholder partnership skillsExperience working within data governance, data management or data quality environmentsStrong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, issues and root causesKnowledge of data management tools, ideally Collibra, including glossary and classification managementExperience working with insurance or financial services data would be advantageousAbility to interrogate and profile data, with SQL skills highly desirableStrong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage with audiences at all levelsGood understanding of data governance, data security, privacy and information lifecycle principlesA proactive mindset with a passion for improving data quality and driving best practice across the business Responsibilities: Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Data Governance Framework to strengthen data quality, integrity and business valueAnalyse data processes and work with Data Owners and Data Stewards to identify and resolve data quality issues at sourceConduct data profiling and implement data quality controls to improve the accuracy and reliability of business dataProduce data quality reporting and dashboards, highlighting risks and supporting governance decision-makingCoordinate and support data governance forums, including preparing packs, recording actions and tracking outcomesBuild effective relationships with stakeholders across the business to promote good data management practicesChampion data governance standards and support colleagues in embedding governance requirements within their areasMaintain data catalogues, business glossaries and data dictionaries to improve understanding and accessibility of data assetsSupport the governance of information assets through classification, retention and lifecycle management activitiesContribute to the development of a strong data culture by promoting best practice and continuous improvement across the organisation Technologies: SupportSQLSecurity More:
