Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year
Requirements: Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and core machine learning algorithmsAbility to deliver end-to-end data science workstreamsClear communication and stakeholder collaboration skillsUndergraduate degree in a numerical subjectStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsExtensive experience accessing and analysing data using SQL and PythonExperience in contributing and managing a shared code repository (e.g. Github, Bitbucket)Expertise in using commonly used regression and classification algorithmsExperience (2-5 years) working as an associate/graduate data scientist or data scientist Responsibilities: Contribute to Advanced AI and Machine Learning Development by supporting delivery of the machine learning lifecycle, including data ingestion, exploration, feature engineering, modelling, evaluation, and deployment monitoringHelp Drive Innovation and Shape AI Opportunities by identifying where analytics or machine learning can improve business performance or member valueDeliver High-Impact Project Work by owning well-defined workstreams within larger projects, delivering high-quality outputs that support commercial or customer outcomesEngage Stakeholders and Support AI Adoption by collaborating with teams across actuarial, operations, product, engineering, commercial, and clinical areas to understand needs and shape solutionsContribute to Developing the Data Science Community through participation in knowledge sharing sessions, workshops, and learning initiativesSupport Responsible AI, Governance, and Risk Management by applying responsible AI principles and following model governance frameworksCollaborate to Scale AI Platforms and Infrastructure by working with engineering and ML teams to deploy models and monitor them in productionMaintain, Improve, and Operate Models in Production by monitoring model performance using defined KPIs and raising issues when thresholds are breached Technologies: AIBitBucketGitHubSupportMachine LearningPythonSQL More:
