Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
• The primary objective is to support the Lean and functions by being a key contributor and facilitator of LEAN initiatives throughout the plant. • The position facilitates teams in the collection and analysis of operational data, identification, prioritization, and implementation of Lean Basic Tools, Events and Projects. • Key role in the journey to achieve Operational Excellence status through waste analysis within the factory value stream. • Able to Apply Lean Tools independently Like 5S, Kaizens, OEE, SMED, VSM, 7 Waste, JIT, Pull Flow, Hoshin Kanri etc. • Lead the 2-5 Days Lean Kaizen event and conclude with desired results. • Lean project implementation: Identify continuous improvement opportunities which cover productivity, quality, safety, utilization, inventory, lead time, etc., focus on end-to-end improvement, facilitate manufacturing engineer/supervisor/operator to build up, implement and follow up Lean projects to hit the target by Lean Methodology. • Present, facilitate, and lead assigned process improvement events using methods of team building, team energizing, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, project management, and presentation skills. • Develop reports of overall Continuous Improvement activities, including accomplishments, participation, projected activities, and anticipated needs. • Analyze operational data, trend analysis, statistical studies, Pareto charts, process maps, etc., to identify improvement and waste elimination opportunities. • Coordinate with related departments and functions to assure appropriate information flow and understanding of overall process improvement direction. • Assist in training of plant personnel in the Continuous Improvement process. • Provide technical problem-solving support to plant teams in support of the Lean and CI deployment. Required Qualifications
• Bachelors in Automation, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related Engineering fields. • 2+ Years of experience in Lean manufacturing. • Experience in automation or process optimization projects will be an advantage. • Lean Six Sigma - Green belt preferred.
