Job Description Summary The FP&A Commercial & Capital Allocation Leader position will report directly to the Electrification Segment Global FP&A leader and be responsible for driving FP&A Commercial reporting and analysis, transformation and Capital Allocation for Electrification segment and business lines.
Electrification segment is the company’s fastest growing segment with ~$14.5B-$15.0B estimated revenue in ’26 and expected to grow significantly
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead FP&A commercial reporting and analytics of Electrification segment to ensure overall segment orders and backlog metrics are accurate for both external and internal reporting • Partner with business lines finance team and segment functional teams (controllership, DT, etc) to manage wing to wing orders and backlog reporting, forecast and analysis; Direct continuous improvement initiatives of processes improving FP&A forecast accuracy, cycle times and quality • Run point of Electrification segment Investor Relationship data requests during quarterly earnings release cycles and external conferences • Lead FP&A commercial reporting and analysis transformation workstream partnering with Corporate FP&A team and Electrification business finance team to further improve reporting capability through financial systems improvement and process digitization • Partner with the Electrification Segment CFO and FP&A leader to further implement capital allocation framework and operating mechanism to evaluate, measure and track the return on investment of capex and NPI investment across Electrification segment • Lead and own financial planning cycle and operational reviews with regards to capital allocation topics, including liaison with Vernova headquarter Strategy and FP&A team on overall process design, cascade down processes change & data requests to Electrification businesses and facilitate all internal evaluation, optimization and approval processes of investment asks
Qualifications/Requirements :
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field • Minimum 6 years of experience and progressive responsibility in FP&A team • FMP and OFLP leadership experience is highly recommended • Understanding of Electrification FP&A process would be preferred
