About this role

As a Calibration & Diagnostics Engineer, you will join our Coventry team to support our activities within the automotive engineering sector.

You will support vehicle development programmes through diagnostics, calibration activities, and complex issue resolution. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in troubleshooting powertrain systems and ensuring performance and compliance targets are met

Location: CoventryOn Site: HybridClearance: ClearableExperience Level: Mid- level (3-6 years experience)Key Responsibilities:

Perform vehicle diagnostics and support development testing activitiesFlash calibrations and DCMs using ETAS INCA or equivalent toolsInvestigate and resolve complex technical issues using structured problem-solving methodsSupport powertrain validation and ensure alignment with development targets Required Skills:

Proven background in an automotive development environment with diagnostics experienceProficiency with ETAS INCA (or equivalent) and calibration flashing toolsStrong experience in issue resolution and structured problem solvingCustomer-focused mindset with strong communication skillsFull UK driving license with less than 6 penalty pointsRequired Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Experience working within vehicle or powertrain development environmentsFamiliarity with automotive engineering processes and standardsDesirable Skills:

Understanding of powertrain certification and test environmentsExperience with powertrain homologation requirementsProficiency with data analysis tools (e.g. Python, MATLAB, Concerto)Knowledge of FMEA, FMA, Six Sigma or similar methodologies Why join us?
