Main duties of the job As a Waking Night Support Worker at Enable in Bromley, you will work in a permanent role at £13.00 per hour. Your key responsibility will be making a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals, delivering person-centred outcomes for those with complex support needs, including Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health issues. This role requires enthusiasms, great people skills, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach. The position involves short-break and respite care for adults with learning disabilities in a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities include encouraging community involvement to foster independence, supporting daily living activities including social activities, personal care, and meal planning. You will need to communicate effectively using preferred methods, engage and motivate those you support, and specialize in offering positive behavioural support approaches. Accurate record-keeping and reporting to management are also essential.

Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
Communicating- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods
Engaging- promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life
Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches
Recording- keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management
Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
