About this role
In this position, you will be part of the Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Microbiology teams. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Perform routine EM activities in classified manufacturing areas, including air, surface, and personnel monitoringConduct microbiological testing, including bioburden, endotoxin, BacT, and plate reading activitiesReview test results, identify atypical findings, and support investigations as requiredEnsure accurate and timely completion of GMP documentation and laboratory recordsSupport equipment readiness, calibration activities, and routine laboratory operationsCollaborate with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence For this interesting position, we are looking for someone with:
An apprenticeship (EFZ) as a Laboratory Technician in Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology, or a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant scientific disciplineIdeally two years of professional experience in a GMP environmentFamiliarity with sample collection within controlled environmentsExperience in consumables and laboratory material managementStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teamsFluent in English, German is a plus This is a full time permanent position with Eurofins PSS, providing services at the client site. After several onboarding trainings, to make sure you have the experience you need, you will be working independently in our team.
