About this role
The Cluster Manager - Environmental Testing is responsible for the strategic, operational and technical management of the Environmental Testing business line in Croatia. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality environmental testing services, compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements, contribution to achievement of financial targets, and development of a high-performing team. The position leads laboratory operations related to water, wastewater, soil, sediment, and environmental monitoring services.
Key Operational Management responsibilities include:
Oversee daily environmental laboratory operations.Ensure efficient resource planning, capacity management, and workflow optimization.Monitor operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Lead investments in laboratory equipment, technology, and infrastructure.Ensure timely delivery of analytical results and reports. University degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Agronomy or related natural sciences7-10+ years of experience in environmental testing laboratories2-5+ years in a leadership or management roleProven experience in:Water testing (drinking water, wastewater, groundwater)Soil and sediment analysisEnvironmental chemistryExperience managing laboratory operations, budgets, and teamsBusiness fluent English and Croatian language skills (written and spoken)Preferred Technical competencies and regulatory knowledge
