Job summary
Working with a supportive care team, you'll help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment so that people receiving care can feel comfortable and supported. You'll play an important role in maintaining high standards across the service, helping to ensure patients receive care in a hygienic and well-organised setting. As part of a wider healthcare team, you'll work closely with colleagues and respond to the changing needs of the service.

Main duties of the job
What you'll do:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout patient and communal areas
Support meal preparation and assist with basic feeding tasks when required Monitor the environment, report concerns and contribute to quality improvement activities
Use cleaning equipment safely and help manage supplies and stock levels
Work with colleagues to provide a responsive, safe and welcoming service for patients
What we're looking for:
Experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, ideally within a healthcare or care environment
Knowledge of health and safety practices and safe use of cleaning products and equipment
Good communication and customer service skills
A flexible approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to maintaining high standards and treating people with dignity and respect

Qualifications Essential
NVQ level 2 in cleaning or equivalent level of knowledge and experience Basic food hygiene training
