About this role
Job summary Rotational Clinical Pharmacist -Fixed term for 18 months 37.5 hours per week - Band 6 The post holder will participate in the provision and development of the clinical pharmacy service to all wards in the Trust in accordance with current Medicines Management Procedures and will work on a rotational basis. There will also be a responsibility for working in the dispensary.
Main duties of the job
In accordance with the current Trust objectives, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that medicines reconciliations, on the assigned wards, are completed as soon as possible after admission. They will also be responsible for ensuring discharge prescriptions are dealt with quickly and efficiently, responding to medicines information queries and conducting audits
The clinical pharmacist will rotate through a number of specialities. These specialities will include medicine, stroke , trauma and orthopaedics, women and children, surgery, community and out patients.

Current registration with the GPhC as a pharmacist in the UK Evidence of Continuing Professional Development Master's degree in pharmacy.

Undertaking a post graduate qualification or similar clinical pharmacy training
