The post will involve effective time management, managing schedules and leave arrangements ensuring appropriate and timely communications with all relevant personnel; arranging meetings/events; composing and transcribing minutes proactively ensuring action points are raised and completed; preparation of correspondence and reports; effective management of the office by establishing and maintaining efficient manual and electronic correspondence and documentation management systems; ensuring office equipment and stationery levels and assessment/referral paperwork is maintained, processing orders as required.

Main duties of the job
As CWPS Quality and Governance Administrator the post holder will provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the Network Quality and Improvement Manager and Quality Team, to maintain and develop an effective quality management system across CWPS. Which incorporates clinical governance and risk management. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for the administration of both Q-Pulse (the Pathology networks quality management system) and Datix systems across the individual Trusts.

Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services (CWPS) are looking for an organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for healthcare administration, to join the team. CWPS comprises of several different disciplines that work across a number of sites, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW), George Eliot Hospital (GEH) and South Warwick University Foundation Group (SWFT).

oNVQ3 in Business Administration, Customer Care or an equivalent and relevant Administration Qualification. oKey Skills Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent experience. oRSA typing Level 1 / 2 or equivalent qualification.
