Main duties of the job We are seeking a Purchase Ledger Administrator at Avery Healthcare's Group Support Centre in Northampton. The role involves ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, maintaining strong financial controls, and building relationships with internal and external bodies. Responsibilities include invoice matching, coding, posting, handling supplier queries, reconciling statements, checking payment runs for errors, setting up and verifying suppliers, and answering telephone and email queries. Candidates must possess previous administration experience, effective communication skills, professional telephone manner, and a positive attitude towards clients and visitors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Purchase Ledger Administrator will be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and maintaining strong financial controls across our care home operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for invoice matching, coding, and posting, as well as handling supplier queries and reconciling statements.

Other responsibilities will include:

Qualifications Essential

Previous experience within an administration role, effective communication skills both verbally and in writing, effective interpersonal skills, professional telephone manner, positive attitude to clients and visitors.
