Its core competences are the development, production, distribution and servicing of diesel, gas and electric drivetrains for professional applications that is used in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling equipment, stationary equipment, commercial vehicles, rail vehicles and other applications.#LI-DNI Job Summary Warehouse Associate Job Code 60000395 FLSA Status Nonexempt Reports to Position Summary The Warehouse Associate will be involved with all warehouse operations related to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and other warehouse-related activities. The ideal candidate must be dedicated to maintaining a high-quality work environment and being a team player. The Warehouse Associate must be hard-working, organized, and detail oriented. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Daily housekeeping of warehouse. • Pick and pack parts for customer orders. • Receive and stock freight in hard locations. • Assemble and stock modification kits. • Process receiving documents; prepare Bill of Lading / Airway Billing. • Loading and unloading of LTL and small package carrier trucks. • Initiates good customer services by giving prompt, efficient and friendly service to internal and external customers. • Abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. • Abides by all safety rules and uses all appropriate safety equipment. • Cleaning and/or dusting shelving units and workstations. Sweeping floors in an open area and under racks. • Performs other duties as assigned. Other Qualifications • Strong attention to detail with the ability to process information and understand discrepancies between data. • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work well with others to keep things running smoothly. • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage time effectively by using the right documentation to know how much inventory is on hand at any given moment. • Strong problem-solving ability to work through any challenge, conflict, or unexpected situation and achieve goals with proven results. Supervisory Responsibility Travel Requirements Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs. Minimum Requirements • High School Diploma / GED • Strong Familiarity with general warehouse operations • Ability to use PC with SAP • Good verbal communication skills and legible handwriting. • Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system • Strong organizational skills Preferred Requirements Physical Requirements • An employee must meet the physical demands described here to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
