Job Description Responsibilities: • Plan and implement international networks and network requirements based on traffic forecasts to support international services. • Plan and implement bilateral restorations with overseas correspondent on 24 x 7 standby. • Negotiate with overseas correspondents on bilateral circuit requirement • Coordinate the implementation of circuits and associated equipment • Liaise with relevant parties for specific international network requirements • Coordinate implementation of restoration plan with international transmission • Perform effective activation, deactivation and provisioning of all StarHub’s International capacity and of different cable systems. • Advise and fulfill BDM enquiry on capacity availability and international circuit design. • Ensure all work orders are correctly provisioned, cost-effective, and delivered in a timely manner in alignment with specifications and requirements. • Project management of StarHub’s collocation and interconnections requirements at Singtel’s and other cable stations in the Asia Pacific region. • 24 x 7 standby with on call duties for submarine cable systems (dry and wet segment) fault localizations, fault repair and liaising with relevant cable systems and overseas carriers for restoration capacity. • On-board representatives on vessel for submarine cable projects, surveys and repairs. • Contract (StarHub Cable Station Interconnection Agreement) negotiation / revision with new / existing colocation carriers leading to the execution of agreement. • Working closely with Legal, Regulatory and Finance to create cable station services products and services including legal agreement, financial costing, internal workflow and processes based on legal and regulatory framework. • Maintain overall end-to-end responsibility for providing colocation services to customers at StarHub Cable Landing Stations. • Manage colocation customers to ensure efficient allocation of colo space and power in StarHub’s cable landing station. • Oversee colocation customers’ site access and security. • Keep up-to-date and accurate records of the customers’ colocation subscribed services. • Review, process, track, and maintain accurate records of cross-connection requests and completions; perform troubleshooting and fiber patching. • Liaise with colo customers on adhoc/emergency interconnection, troubleshooting and urgent site access requests. • Work closely with Cable Station and Facility Management teams to coordinate projects, manage colocation facility capacity, and optimize facility safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency. • Travel overseas to attend cable consortia meetings as required.
