Location: Seoul Company: Festo Korea Type: Full Time About the Role As a Product Steering and Demand Planning Specialist at Festo Korea, you will help turn market, sales, and supply chain information into clear business priorities and coordinated action. You will guide local product and commercial initiatives, coordinate the demand-planning process, and develop and maintain practical business intelligence solutions that support better decisions for the entire organization. Working across Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing Communications, Management, and regional or Headquarters functions, you will connect data with execution ensuring visibility of portfolio performance, opportunities, and risks. Responsibilities Product and Commercial Steering: Coordinate ad-hoc commercial initiatives using fact-based analysis and practical follow-up tools, to support overall product steering strategy. Analyze product portfolio performance, market potential, and commercial feasibility to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps. Develop decision-oriented Power BI dashboards and consistent KPIs that provide clear, actionable insights for management and sales teams. Translate product portfolio strategy into clear priorities, practical tools, and initiatives that support daily sales activities. Identify portfolio-performance risks and opportunities, assess their potential business impact, and coordinate timely actions with supply chain or related global functions. Continuously improve portfolio-steering and reporting processes through standardization, automation, and clear working practices. Demand Planning and Cross-Functional Coordination: Own and coordinate the local demand-planning process to provide reliable demand visibility and improve forecast accuracy and bias. Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Supply Chain Management to align forecast assumptions, market intelligence, and supply information. Identify significant demand and supply risks, communicate their business impact clearly, and coordinate corrective actions or escalation. Facilitate demand-planning and product-steering reviews and ensure systematic follow-up of agreed actions. Promote fact-based decision-making and support stakeholders in effectively using planning data, business insights, and Power BI information. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or related fields. Good understanding of the industrial automation business and the ability to evaluate and constructively challenge demand requirements based on market and business conditions. Experience working with sales, product management, supply chain, and management stakeholders in a cross-functional environment. Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power BI, with capabilities to build and maintain complex dashboards in alignment with business needs. Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and drive actions without direct authority. Good knowledge of supply chain management, project management, and statistics. Business-level written and spoken English. Preferred Qualifications Five years of relevant experience in an international company. Experience in demand planning, product planning, portfolio steering, business analysis, or related function.
