Job Overview Responsible for managing the calibration system including ensuring calibration instructions are maintained, equipment is calibrated properly, and the completed calibration paperwork is reviewed and filed in a timely manner. Responsible for second level reviews of calibration certificates and BMRAM work orders. Perform equipment configuration verifications per established procedures. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties Reviews calibration work orders and certificates for compliance to instructions and verifies that specifications have been met Participates in calibration-related continuous improvement projects Assists in creating and updating calibration instructions for individual equipment based on the range and tolerance required Initiates and assists with completing Out Of Tolerance (OOT) Reports for failed calibrations Performs and documents equipment configuration verifications per established schedules and procedures Initiates and assists with completing Configuration Verification Incident Reports (CVIR) for failed configuration verifications Maintains equipment calibration (including OOTs) and configuration verification status (including CVIRs) in BMRAM to ensure activities are completed on-time Reviews configuration verification reports executed by other personnel Assists with other related tasks as needed. Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience is required. 0- 1 years’ previous work experience in calibration or metrology in an FDA regulated industry, preferably medical devices is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and communication skills. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to organize and handle a number of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Awareness of 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 is preferred. Experience with Equipment Assessment Management software is preferred. Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments. Office or production environment May work extended hours during peak business cycles.
