Steritec Products Inc., a member of the Getinge Group, manufactures sterilization and cleaning medical device consumables using ink technology. We manufacture and print highly specialized proprietary inks that undergo specific color changes when exposed to different sterilization conditions in hospital and industrial/pharmaceutical sterilizers. We are located in the beautiful Inverness Business Park in Englewood, CO. Position Summary The Material Handler II is responsible for kitting and de-kitting jobs that are assigned to various Production Cells in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with published schedules and procedures. They are also responsible for putting all received material away into Raw Material and Production Racks along with putting away Printed WIP. Essential Job Functions Kit jobs that are assigned to the Production Cells. Gather and replenish work areas with material, products and paperwork as needed and upon completion. De-kit jobs and put away materials and finished product Signs out labels that are available from label techs and puts with job on the cell. Puts away Raw Material and printed WIP and keeps them correctly labeled and located in the ERP system. Labels all parts that are released from FGSH and Quality. Consistently and accurately checks all components of a job order against documentation to be sure that proper components are kitted. Communicate with the Purchasing and Inventory Control when materials are running low so that they can be reordered. Conducts Cycle Counts and helps resolve any inventory discrepancies. Certified annually for use of powered forklifts and pallet jacks. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all co-workers. Work closely with Customer Service, Production, Quality, Purchasing and Finance departments to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance with proper personal protective equipment. Adhere to all stated company policies and procedures. Assists in the other areas of Logistics as needed. Essential Job Requirements EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED. EXPERIENCE Proven legible handwriting and comprehension of written instructions. Material Handler is required to operate a Pallet Jack. Comprehends all verbal and or written direction, procedures, and follows those instructions through to completion. REQUIRED SKILLS Computer skills (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Teams), Basic Math, Attention to Detail PREFERRED SKILLS GSS ERP experience, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Lean Six Sigma, Toyota Production System. Quality Requirements • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. • Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function). • Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function). • Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval. • Adopt the “Beyond Compliance Quality Culture” in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements. • Strive to improve technical skills and knowledge through formal and informal education. Responsible for understanding and conforming to the Health and Safety Policy to ensure that the significant risks that relate to actual or potential hazards with their work are identified. • May work extended hours during peak business cycles. • Must wear appropriate PPE as required.
