***This role is onsite in the Chicago area, Contract to hire or Full time, however the client is unable to provide sponsorship.***DescriptionThe SAP EWM Lead will drive end-to-end success of inventory management, warehousing, and outbound logistics processes within SAP S/4HANA. The Lead partners closely with Manufacturing, Order to Cash, Finance, and logistics stakeholders to ensure material movement strategies support scalable, compliant, and efficient operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead Logistics and Warehouse Management processes including inventory management, warehousing, picking, packing, shipping, and delivery execution. • Develop a deep understanding of client business processes and strategy through collaboration and regular engagement with key stakeholders and process owners; translate the business requirements into functional and technical specifications • Communicate with key stakeholders regularly to manage expectations and provide project updates on scope and schedules; ensure timely escalation and mitigation of issues and risks to ensure a smooth deployment process • Willingness to learn related applications and integration technologies that contribute to the end-to-end process integration with SAP • Gather and document systems and process requirements through meetings, workshops, site visits, and job shadowing; create and maintain documentation on SAP manufacturing business processes • Performs business process mapping using standard methodologies • Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of developments in SAP manufacturing processes and related areas to recommend innovations to improve the quality and effectiveness of the business solution • Own SAP EWM solution design including inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse flows. • Lead ShipERP integration for carrier selection, labeling, and shipment execution. • Define material movement strategies aligned with physical warehouse operations. • Lead global SAP deployments through design, build, test, cutover, and hypercare. • Build and lead onshore and offshore SAP analyst teams. Skills and Competencies: • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 10+ years SAP experience with deep EWM and logistics expertise is preferred or 2 full deployment cycles with application integration experience with (ShipERP, OTM , WCS). • Proven experience leading teams and supporting ERP or enterprise application implementations and migrations. • A global and agile mindset with strong customer focus, self-motivated, and internally driven • Ability to troubleshoot SAP issues and to coordinate with other process experts to resolve integrated issues • Naturally curious with a love of learning, and demonstrated application of new learningJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Libertyville, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $187000.00 - $240000.00/yr.
