Experienced Personal Injury/Torts and Insurance Defense Lawyer Needed (Associate Attorney) Overview A small civil litigation firm (six attorneys) is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Associate Attorney to support an active practice focused on personal injury/torts and insurance defense. This is an on-site position based in Decatur, Georgia. Responsibilities
• Manage a litigation caseload with significant day-to-day case management responsibility.
• Handle matters in the firm’s personal injury/torts and insurance defense practice.
• Draft and revise litigation documents with strong attention to detail.
• Track and enter billable time accurately in the firm’s case management software.
• Contribute to the practice’s growth, with opportunities for increased responsibility and a potential path toward partnership.
Qualifications
• Active Georgia bar license.
• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience, including meaningful exposure to personal injury/torts and insurance defense.
• Excellent legal writing skills and strong attention to detail.
• Prior experience entering billable time into case management software.
Compensation
• Base salary: $150,000–$185,000.
• Billable hours: 1,800 target.
• Bonus: May be awarded for exceeding the annual billable requirement.
• Additional compensation: Origination credit.
