About this role

Job Title: Chief InspectorJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Chief Inspector to lead inspection operations across our MRO facilities. This role is critical to ensuring all maintenance and inspection activities comply with FAA regulations, OEM requirements, and airworthiness standards. You will oversee inspection teams, drive quality performance, and play a key role in maintaining the highest level of safety and compliance across aircraft and components. Responsibilities • Lead and oversee inspection teams performing preliminary, in-process, and final inspections. • Ensure all work is properly inspected and approved for return to service in accordance with FAA and OEM requirements. • Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and maintain efficient workflow across the department. • Establish and track performance metrics and quality goals. • Report defects and recurring airworthiness issues in compliance with 14 CFR 145. • Ensure all maintenance—both onsite and offsite—meets Repair Station Manual standards. • Drive continuous improvement of quality systems, procedures, and compliance. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. • Lead and manage team performance, training, and growth. • Support capability approvals and self-evaluations in line with FAA regulations. • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership and customer teams. Essential Skills • A&P License (Part 65 required) • 10+ years of MRO experience • 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, airworthiness standards, and inspection processes Additional Skills & Qualifications • Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills • Experience with CFM Engine maintenance • Quality assurance expertise • Inspection authorization Why Work Here?This is a high-impact leadership role in a growing aviation organization. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
