Responsibilities • Perform visual quality inspections on door hardware pieces produced by machines to ensure they meet specified standards. • Use measuring tools, including tape measures, to verify dimensions and confirm that parts meet required tolerances. • Count parts accurately and record quantities, inspection results, and any defects in a clear and organized manner. • Identify and segregate defective or nonconforming parts according to established procedures. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and inspection processes. • Follow production and inspection procedures consistently to support overall quality and productivity goals. • Sit or stand for extended periods while performing repetitive inspection and counting tasks. Essential Skills • Experience in general labor or production work. • Ability to perform visual quality control inspections with strong attention to detail. • Ability to use a tape measure accurately for measuring and verification tasks. • Capability to sit or stand for long periods of time while performing job duties. • Strong counting and basic documentation skills to track parts and inspection results. • Reliability and consistency in following established procedures and work instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous experience in inspection or quality control environments. • Familiarity with production or manufacturing settings. • Comfort working with repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and focus. The setting is structured and process-driven, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and maintaining an orderly workspace. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
