Essential Duties 
 Safe, efficient, and continuous preparation, delivery, and monitoring of process reagents and utilities in support of plant operations.

Training & Experience 

• Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements, including Fitness for Work and adherence to Newmont Safety Systems and PNG Mine Safety Act. • Perform tasks only after hazards and potential consequences are identified and mitigated. • Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Newmont Values. • Work collaboratively with a diverse team and maintain clear communication during shift handovers and toolbox meetings. • Operate and monitor Lime Plant, Cyanide Mixing, CCD Flocculent Mixing, Carbon Addition, Containment Pond Management, Seawater and Raw Water System. • Execute daily plans, inspections, and routine schedules, reporting defects and hazards promptly. • Maintain housekeeping standards across work areas and ensure compliance with SOPs and environmental guidelines. • Apply knowledge of reagent safety (PPE, SDS, Handling, etc). • Conduct regular inspections of Lime Plant and other Reagent facilities, ensuring operational integrity and process efficiency. • Participate in troubleshooting and optimization activities.

Training & Experience 

• Prior experience in gold processing or similar heavy industry environment and/or above Grade 10 school. • Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, Overhead Crane, etc. • Strong understanding of cyanide safety. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. • High attention to detail and time management.

Working Conditions 
 This is a FIFO role on a 28/14 rotating roster.
