Job summary
The Nurse Associate is a member of the direct care team and will provide advanced support to theregistered nurse to meet patient's needs.You will be responsible for providing care and therapy to patients as delegated by the registerednurse to ensure a seamless service to patients.You will be allocated a caseload of patients by the registered nurse and will be expected to workindependently, holistically assessing patients' needs, planning and prioritising their workload andimplementing evidence based care, evaluating the outcomes of care under the minimalsupervision of the registered nurse
Main duties of the job
Deliver high quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (or otherregistered care professional dependent on setting) with a focus on promoting health andindependenceHave proficient attitudes and behaviours compatible with NHS ValuesWork as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses on thedirect needs of the individualCarry out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standardand competency, under the direction and indirect supervision of a registered nurse or otherregistered care professionals dependent on settingTake responsibility for developing own clinical competence, leadership and reflectivepractice skills within the workplace
