Avid Core is seeking a Consulting Analyst to provide administrative, operational, and analytical support to a federal law enforcement client in Washington, DC. This is a full-time role for an organized and service-oriented professional who can support changing priorities while producing accurate and timely work.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000, based on experience and qualifications.
Overall Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to government teams, projects, and leadership
• Support office operations and logistics, including inventory tracking, supply distribution, and equipment management
• Organize and maintain electronic files, records, documentation, and internal trackers
• Assist with document control, records management, audit support, and retrieval of supporting materials
• Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, prepare agendas and briefing materials, and record minutes and action items
• Support travel coordination and other scheduling activities for government personnel
• Upload, organize, and maintain SharePoint content and assist users with navigation and document retrieval
• Support basic SharePoint lists, libraries, and established workflows under the guidance of senior staff
• Compile and summarize data and prepare draft tables, charts, written summaries, and presentation materials
• Conduct routine open-source research and respond to administrative or analytical requests from team leads
• Support onboarding, offboarding, personnel documentation, meeting scheduling, and workforce tracking activities
• Maintain assigned government equipment and follow established issuance, tracking, and security procedures
• Adapt to reassignment among teams, projects, or priorities based on client needs
• Provide other non-specialized administrative and operational support as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in an administrative, office support, operational support, or similar role
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work professionally in a federal law enforcement environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and basic office equipment
• Ability to learn new software, systems, and client processes as needed
• Strong organizational, document management, and time-management skills
• Ability to compile information and produce accurate, clear, and timely work products
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond appropriately to changing assignments
• Ability to obtain and retain the required federal background investigation
• Microsoft Office proficiency certification is preferred but not required

Education:
High school diploma or associate degree required; some college coursework or a relevant professional certification is preferred.

Location:
This full-time position is based at federal client sites in Washington, DC. The selected candidate must be available to work onsite and may be assigned between two downtown client locations. Telework may be permitted only with prior written government approval and may be modified, suspended, or revoked based on mission needs.
