As a Class 1 driver you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of small to large value consignments that requires special handling conditions. This role includes manual pump truck work moving pallets up to 1000kg. This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday with start times between 04:00 – 06:00 , must be flexible to night out. Admission to GXO University, our online learning platform enabling you to achieve your career aspirations What you’ll be doing on a typical day: Deliver customer products safely and on time, completing multi-drop deliveries while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Operate vehicles and equipment safely, including the use of pump trucks, while following all health and safety procedures Secure loads and carry out vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly to help ensure safe and compliant operations Provide excellent customer service, taking ownership of delivery issues and completing all required training to support the role What you need to succeed at GXO: Hold a valid C+E Class 1 licence Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements) An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
